In winter you see other birds, other animals and smell different scents than in spring, summer and autumn. Long patches of fog over grasp lawns, flocks of geese flying over and a cup of hot chocolate. It used to be dark outside and you can see the snow falling past the lantern light. Inside it is warm and you do things that you cannot touch at other times. Make fat balls to attract the special winter birds to your garden, for example. You don't have to go far to encounter special things. This booklet teaches you to take a good look around you and to pay attention to the little things. The closer you look, the better you see.
